Do you surf at work? Beware!

Now I know already know the answer to that questions because I see the website statistics take a sharp rise between the hours of 2pm-4pm and I don't believe for a minute that all your Mrs2Be out there are shift workers!!!

I also know from a survey that was carried out recently that Mrs2Be wish they could take time of work to plan their weddings due to the amount of time it takes, and this coupled with the fact that 77% of brides now plan their weddings online means that it is inevitable that you will be using your work PC to surf the net at some point!

But, in all seriousness - you must be sure to check your company's internet usability policy for acceptable use as they do have ways and means of ensuring they know exactly how their employees are using the internet and what sites they are viewing. Once such piece of software is keylogging. Keylogging eylogging tools can be used to record anything ranging from web sites you visit to recording your passwords. Whilst you may not be overly thrilled to know that this clever piece of kit could be monitoring your every move online, I bet you would be the first in line if you had teenagers and kids at home surfing the net - I mean you can't exactly be looking over their shoulder at every moment - can you!
