Chirk Castle

Chirk Castle is a wonderful 13th century Welsh castle steeped in history and boasting award winning gardens. The castle also enjoys stunning views over the Ceiriog Valley and Vale of Llangollen.

Owned by the National Trust, Chirk Castle has opened its portcullis once again to weddings and promises to be a very exciting re-launched wedding venue in North Wales!

Chirk Castle has hosted many a lavish party with internationally renowned artists writers and musicians. It has even paid host to the odd King and Queen – and you too could now be a part of its history.

You can take advantage of Chirk Castle’s Chapel or thatched Hawk House for your wedding ceremony and enjoy over 5 acres of exquisitely landscaped, award winning gardens – just imagine that as your wedding backdrop. These two civil ceremony locations can hold up to 80 guests.

Wedding ceremonies can take place from March to October.
