In celebration of his forthcoming 10th wedding anniversary, it is reported that Take That's Gary Barlow will be celebrating in style with none other than a fish and chip supper! Apparently Gary and his wife Dawn will host a £250,000 party at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Knightsbridge, London. The pair met when she worked as a backing dancer for Take That many years ago and after a four year courtship, they married in the Caribbean back in 2000.
Guests are expected to include his fellow bandsmen and the bash is said to require a glamorous dress code despite the fairly simple menu. Dancing and bingo are also said to be on the agenda for the evening as is plenty of champagne.
We love this idea and we love the way that despite Gary's fame, when it comes down to it, he really is a true boy next door type. With the guest list expected to include 100 of his friends, we at the Mrs2Be office wonder if we might be one of this 100?!
