Has the current climate crunched your wedding budget?

All this talk about the "credit crunch" cannot go unnoticed and with the average cost of a wedding now being between £17k - £21K there is a lot to crunch!

What we here at team Mrs2Be would like to know is:

a) has the credit crunch had a direct affect on your wedding budget?

b) if so, in what way?

Or, if you are a wedding supplier, what affect, if any are you experiencing from your brides? Are they slower to commit? Are they cutting back on non-essentials? Are they doing more themselves?

We have definitely noticed that couples are leaving it quite late to make some decisions.

I postponed my wedding until we could afford everything that we wanted after my husband to be lost his job.
