Beware when Buying Engagement Rings on Ebay

I was informed today, of an occurence where someone purchased a very good quality Cubic Zirconia solitaire ring set in high quality gold, from ebay for arround £90.00 and then promptly re-advertised the ring as a Real Diamond Solitaire for £600.00 and sold it!

So I wanted to give you some advice about buying expensive jewellery on Ebay!

1. Try where possible to purchase from either a Power Seller or a shop via Ebay Express.

2. Check to see if they advertise a phone number and personally I would also give them a ring and speak to them if you are parting with large sums of money.

3. Check their feedback but remember when they are selling hundreds of items, they may not have 100% so be sure to read the comments first.

4. Never, ever send cash for a large sum. In fact I would not advise you to pay any way other than by credit card to give yourself some level of protection.

5. Check to see if the seller provides any form of Money Back Guarantee.

Mrs2Be Recommends Nuttalls of Chester
I have personally worked with one Ebay Jewellery Retailer and I can certainly vouch for their Integrity so if you want a recommendation then Mrs2Be is happy to recommend Nuttalls of Chester who sell a wide range of jewellery including engagement rings and wedding rings. This is one of their ruby and diamond engagement rings.
